Handmade wheel-thrown mug in coarse stoneware with a nuka glaze in which I use ash I collected last winter from our wood burner at home to create the melt and colour. Inside it has a dolomite white glaze.
The reduction atmosphere of the charcoal saggar inside the kiln creates the colour in both clay and glaze.
Fired to cone 8 in a charcoal reduction firing saggar
My maker's mark is brushed and stamped on the base.
Approx. 370ml H80 Ø80
